NEUROMODULATORS

Botox   |   Dysport   |   DAXXIFY (Daxi)   |  Jeuveau

Neuromodulators also known as neurotoxins, are all types of injections that improve the overall appearance of your face. They work on muscles to soften and smooth the wrinkles in treated areas. On average results are 3-4 months depending on how you metabolize the medication.

Neuromodulators Used

There are various neuromodulators in the USA. Dr. Linda uses Botox, DAXXIFY and Dysport.

How do NEUROMODULATORS work?

Neuromodulators work on dynamic wrinkle lines. They are injected into the muscle themselves and inhibit muscle over movement. This will cause the muscles to be less tone. The more these muscles relax, the softer they get. The more you use a neuromodulator the less tone your muscle will become. This will result in a softer, youthful look.

Dynamic wrinkle lines are the lines you see due to repeat expression. Once you soften your facial expressions, the lines soften as well. The more animated you are in conversation, the more dynamic lines you will have.

RESULTS

Results take 2 weeks to fully show. Some products and same patients show as soon as 1 week. Dr. Linda personalizes each patient plan, but ultimate goal is for a natural appearance. Some patients require more or less movement depending on their personalized expression goals.

Most neuromodulators last 4.5-6 months. DAXXIFY often lasts 5-9 months. Duration of effect is unique to the individual and based on many factors.
